Mi Piaci boasts both a full lunch and dinner menu sure to satisfy even the pickiest eater. The chef and owner Cosimo Battaglia whips up delectable authentic Italian food. Cosimo studied at a culinary school in Italy, worked in a German 5-star resort hotel for eight years and has been a chef in El Paso for over six years now. Cosimo is a hands on chef from preparing the food to welcoming the guests. He enjoys chatting with the customers or accommodating special requests. One of their signature dishes includes a delicious Fettuccine al Pistachio, made with scrumptious pan seared shrimp with a decadent brandy sauce, spicy garlic, fresh onions, and pistachios mixed with fettuccini in a delightful pesto cream sauce. Another house specialty is their Gnocchi alla Piemontese it is prepared with homemade potato pasta, covered in an authentic pesto gorgonzola cream sauce. Twice a week on Wednesdays and Fridays Mi Piaci features a fresh catch of the day. Don’t forget to top off your meal with a glass of wine from their extensive collection. And if that’s not enough to satisfy your appetite they offer homemade treats of all kinds such as their delicious tiramisu, or their hot Lava Chocolate Cake.
